On this vast interweb, there are countless places to go to get fantasy baseball info. But for whatever reason, they all hate on those of us that play in non-mixed leagues. The problem really began when ESPN.com stopped allowing their player rater to be searchable by league, leaving all of us to fend for ourselves in the cold, cold virtual world. Well I’m here to put an end to that. This site will be dedicated to AL Only leagues. There are a number of reasons for this. First and last being that the American League is the greatest league EVER. Those that play in non-mixed leagues have a number of reasons for doing it. It’s more difficult, you have to actually know you’re stuff, and you can kind of hold your nose up at those amateurish mixed leaguers who might get stuck with Raul Ibanez, when in AL Only leagues you have to hurry to snag him in the 10th.
This site will update the day-to-day happenings in the AL – players to pick up, who we like (Grady Sizemore), who we hate (David DeJesus), and who we’re obsessed with (Shaun Marcum). As the site progresses, there will be features you can all look forward to on certain days, but that’s a way off. Hopefully by that time we’ll be getting the big bucks telling you what to do instead of doing this for free from my bedroom at my parent’s house in front of my Chad Curtis shrine.
Until then, welcome to the only site dedicated to your oddly specific addiction. You are not alone.
